Frequently Asked Questions
Upto how many students are there in a group class?
We limit our in-person group lessons to a maximum of 10 students per batch. This ensures that each student receives ample attention and guidance from the instructor. Our group lessons are thoughtfully designed in an ensemble format, allowing every student to actively participate by playing their respective chapters, which eventually come together to form a cohesive and enjoyable musical piece. This collaborative approach fosters teamwork and provides a rewarding experience for all.
What if I am a beginner and other students are further ahead in the class?
At BodhiTree, our syllabus is carefully crafted to foster a collaborative and ensemble-based learning environment. Even if you are playing chapter one while others are ahead in chapter 10, our curriculum is designed in such a way that all the chapters harmoniously come together like different parts of a single song. This approach ensures that regardless of individual progress, the entire class creates a cohesive musical experience, enhancing the overall learning journey for everyone involved.
What if I miss a class in a group setup?
In our group setup, if you happen to miss a class, unfortunately, there is no provision for recovery or rescheduling. Group lessons are structured to progress collectively with the entire class, and accommodating individual makeup sessions becomes challenging. However, our experienced instructors ensure that you receive comprehensive learning materials and support to help you catch up with the missed content. We encourage consistent attendance to make the most out of the group learning experience.
What are the benefits of private lessons over group lessons ?
In a private lesson, you receive one-on-one attention from the instructor. This allows for a customized learning experience tailored to your specific needs, goals, and skill level.
Upto how many students can learn in a semi private class setup ?
In our semi private class setup, we limit the number of students to a maximum of 3. This allows for a small and intimate learning environment where each student receives ample attention and guidance from the instructor.
By keeping the class size small, we ensure that each student's individual needs, progress, and musical goals can be closely monitored and addressed. The smaller group setting also promotes interaction and collaboration among students, fostering a supportive and engaging learning experience.
Whether you're learning with friends, family members, or like-minded individuals, our semi private classes offer a balance between personalized attention and the benefits of learning in a small group.
Is there an online group class ?
Currently, we do not offer group lessons in an online format. Our group lessons are conducted in person to facilitate better interaction, collaboration, and the shared experience of playing music together.
However, we do provide online private lessons where students can receive personalized attention and guidance from our qualified instructors. These one-on-one sessions allow for tailored instruction based on individual skill levels, interests, and goals.
